Survey Prep I will focus on preparing your assisted living community management to prepare for their state survey and implement a program to remain prepared. These elements and tools for an effec-tive mock survey will be reviewed to include check-lists for dietary, nursing, pharmacy, personnel, and environmental services. We will also review various methods to conduct a mock survey to en-sure effectiveness. Frequently found deficiencies will be discussed as well as programs or solutions to avoid them.
Class participants will be given a crash course on Chapter 663 Continuum of Care and Assisted Living Rules and Act (surveyor edition) and will bring home a binder that will quickly become a vital reference tool in day-to-day operations.
